Our biannual Hall of Fame event is coming up March 4, 2023 and will be both in person at Holy Names University and simulcast. The Hall of Fame recognizes those who have made significant contributions to nursing. The four areas of recognition are outstanding leadership in clinical practice (including administration), scholarship/research, philanthropy, and education. Three additional awards; the Diana Dunn Service Award, Lifetime Achievement, and Friend of Nursing awards may be given to selected individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary service to Nu Xi, achievement over a career in nursing, or for support of nursing and nursing education. The Friend of Nursing Award recognizes an individual or organization that is not eligible for regular membership but has impacted the chapter, the local nursing or health care community, and/or the health of people in a significant way.
This year, we are going to combine that wonderful recognition with our annual business meeting. In addition to providing an opportunity to honor members for outstanding achievement, attendees will be able to network, learn more about Sigma and Nu Xi, and enjoy special culinary delights.
